Eye of the Beholder – Open Call

Ryan Trecartin Any Ever at MOCA
Ryan Trecartin Any Ever will open Friday, July 16th at the MOCA Pacific Design Center. Ryan Trecartin defines himself a video and visual artist. As written on his YouTube channel he is interested in exploring through his work the implications of social networking technologies and Web 2.0 on identity and the web of subjectivity. In his work the conceptual value is significant but his videos are simply humorous, insane and acutely critical.
Mike Bones at MAXXI – 08/07/2010 – 7 pm
Tomorrow: NERO presents Mike Bones live at MAXXI. Bones is a singer-songwriter based in New York. He is one of the most appreciated guitar players of the New York independent scene, and a fine example of a new type of deep contemporary songwriting, one that experiments on the song-form using voice and guitar.
