MARCO SCHIFANO – Studio Visconti

From 1 October 2014 till 16 January 2015, the Studio Giangaleazzo Visconti in Milan (Corso Monforte, 23) will host the  exhibition of Marco Schifano (Roma, 1985). While working with photographic tools, appliances accompanying him since childhood, Marco Schifano moves following an ancient manual technique, like a Renaissance teacher or a Flemish painter, rebuilding with painstaking accuracy the scenes that will be the object of his attention.

Federico Campagna: the first contribution following the inaugural meeting for the talk series, Lions After Slumber. Born in Milan in 1984, Campagna works in rights management at London’s Verso Books.


SPAGHETTI WASTELAND – NERO at the 14th International Architecture Exhibition of la Biennale di Venezia

On 4th and 5th October 2014 – within the context of the 14th International Architecture Exhibition of la Biennale di Venezia – NERO is pleased to present Spaghetti Wasteland – The Secret History of Italian Music from Morricone to Parco Lambro ‘76, a two-day event dedicated to the so-called “spaghetti-sound,” a peculiar kind of music that emerged in Italy in the 60s and 70s thanks to the work of artists such as Ennio Morricone, Franco Battiato, Goblin, Area and many others.
