What’s the craziest thing that has happened to you during your trial career?
Doing a bike strip.
What’s your favorite trick?
At the moment I’m really into backflips.
What kind of bike do you ride?
I ride a Bianchi, the number one in the bike world.
Any serious crashes or injuries so far?
Yup, a few injuries to the ligaments, the shoulders, the face,…
What is the trial scene in Italy like?
It’s still a pretty small community but it’s growing!
Tell us about your training: do you have a coach? How often do you train?
No, I don’t have a coach. But I train by myself every day.
If you could choose any riding location in the world, where would you most want to go?
My favorite riding location in the world is still Barcelona – a great place!
You’re a celebrity in Italy, what does that feel like?
Actually not much different to when I wasn’t.
What would you be doing if you weren’t a trial biker?
I’d probably be a stuntman.
What do you think about trial biking competitions?
These competitions are full of emotions. It’s really exciting to be part of them and winning a world championship was simply unique.
Where do you get your ideas for new tricks?
Some of them I invent myself, for others I get inspiration from the internet.
Who do you usually ride with?
Usually I ride with Andrea Oddone from Oddonz, who has been my friend for 30 years. He also supported me in winning the world championship.
Who do you admire?
Those people in Italy who get by on a normal wage.
Any other projects apart from trial biking?
I plan to conquer Mount Everest. And I’m aiming for Hollywood!
Any advice for people wanting to take up your sport?
Always use your brain.
