DISSLAB is a new music format created by Giorgio Mortari, founder and director of Dissonanze, the leading electronic music festival in Italy. DISSLAB arises as a direct emanation, a cell created for the specific purpose of promoting the audiovisual research, experimentation and sound production of immersive environments. It represents a more intimate dimension of research, the one that characterized the early editions of the festival.

This Saturday sees the first appointment of this new format, with legendary artists such as Carter Tutti (Chris Carter and Cosey Fanny Tutti, former Throbbing Gristle) and Ryoji Ikeda, plus other younger musicians like Vaghe Stelle + Lorenzo Senni and Furtherset – some of the most interesting artist on the today Italian scene – plus Tristan Perich, Egyptrixx, Stay+ and Untold.
